Ceylinco Life has a deep rooted history in the annals of Sri Lankan life insurance. From humble beginnings to the Life Insurance giant we are today, we have passed through milestones which are not just significant for us as a company, but for the Sri Lankan life insurance industry as well, setting the benchmark and leading by example.
Being the household name for life insurance for 34 years, of which 17 have been the market leader, it is evident that we have moved from strength to strength, in rough seas as well as in calm waters and we will continue to sail forward.
Undisputed

Strength in Numbers
Ceylinco Life became the fastest life insurance company to surpass the 100 Billion Life Fund mark, and only the second life insurance company in Sri Lanka to achieve this feat, ensuring financial protection for the assurance placed by our policyholders on us.

Being The Pioneer
Ceylinco Life has always been at the forefront of innovation and in 2012 we launched Sri Lanka’s first Online Life Insurance Plan. We were also the first life insurer to introduce Tele-Underwriting to Sri Lanka and the first life insurance company to surpass the One Billion annual premium income.
Moving Forward
In the year 2000 a separate brand icon was introduced for the life insurance division as Ceylinco Life and in 2004 we achieved the market leadership.
The now iconic loyalty programs, the Pranama Scholarship scheme and Family Savari, which are household names today, were also introduced in 2001 and 2007 respectively.
