Two representatives of Ceylinco Life won Gold awards in their categories at the 2013 National Sales Congress (NASCO) Awards of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), the premier event that recognizes sales excellence and rewards and motivates sales professionals to achieve greater heights.
Ms C.N.S. Fernando of the Moratuwa 01 branch of Ceylinco Life received the Gold Award in the Front Liner Category in the Insurance Sector, while S. Dharshan of the company’s Colombo North 01 branch was presented with the Gold Award in the Sales Executive Category at these awards.
Insurance was one of the 14 sectors from which top notch sales professionals vied for honours at this year’s event. The Front Liners and Sales Executives contending for awards were required to sit for a written paper and those who qualified faced an interview with the judging panel.
The market leader in Sri Lanka’s life insurance sector since 2004, Ceylinco Life operates the largest branch network in the sector and has a sales team of nearly 5,000 people deployed in every district of the country.
