Spectacular shows, quality dining and shopping dominated the agenda when Ceylinco Life treated a group of policyholders and their families to a three-day visit to Singapore recently, as part of the Company’s on-going ‘Family Savari’ mega promotion.
Hot on the heels of a visit by another group of policyholder families to Sydney, the Singapore tour saw 200 people enjoying the delights of the city state, including the iconic Merlion, Fountain of Wealth, China Town, Singapore Flyer & Orchid Garden, Sentosa tour including a cable car ride, the Sealife Aquarium, Wings of Time and the Crane Show.
The group represented one segment of winners of the 12th edition of Ceylinco Life’s Family Savari mega promotion, by far the largest rewards programme in the local life insurance industry. Popular actor Roshan Ranawana, one of four celebrity Family Savari brand ambassadors, accompanied the group.
Winners of the 2018-19 Family Savari promotion comprised of the five families that won a holiday in Australia, the 50 families that won a visit to Singapore, 10 families that will tour China, 500 families selected for a full day of fun and frolic at the Leisure World theme park later this year, and another 15 families that received hotel stays in Sri Lanka.
With the 2,320 people benefitted this year, the cumulative number of policyholders and family members rewarded since the inception of the promotion grows to over 26,000, the Company said. Grand-prize winning families at previous Family Savari promotions have visited Italy, England, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and France.
Conducted annually since 2006, the Ceylinco Life Family Savari promotion is intended to increase the penetration of life insurance and to reward policyholders for keeping their policies active. All active long term Ceylinco Life policyholders, holders of Ceylinco Life Retirement Plans and new policyholders who purchase a policy, pay three months’ premium and keep their policies active are eligible to win these holidays. Depending on the size of their policies or the balances in their Retirement Plans, some policyholders would be eligible to qualify for the draws for all four categories of prizes.
