The Ceylinco Life Pranama Scholarship Scheme is the only rewarding scholarship scheme that grants financial assistance from the Year 5 Scholarship right up to University. Children of Ceylinco Life policyholders who excel in education, sports, cultural activities, art and drama at district level and national level can apply for this scheme. Even if your child has invented something new and gained recognition, you are eligible to apply for the Pranama Scholarships.

Every year, through the Ceylinco Life Pranama Scholarship Scheme, over 150 children of Ceylinco Life policyholders become recipients of scholarships and the company contribution to this scheme exceeds Rs. 5 million per year.

Ceylinco Life Pranama Scholarship Categories

Year 5 Scholarship 25 Scholarships each worth Rs. 90,000/-

If your child is the best student among the children of Ceylinco Life policyholders in the district at the Year 5 scholarship exam, then he/she will receive Rs. 1,500/- every month for a period of 5 years.

GCE Ordinary Level 25 Scholarships each worth Rs. 72,000/-

If your child is the best student among the children of Ceylinco Life policyholders in the district at the GCE Ordinary Level exam, then he/she will receive Rs. 3,000/- every month for a period of 2 years.
(Consideration of the results will be based on the 8 core subjects introduced by the Department of Examinations).

GCE Advanced Level 25 Scholarships each worth Rs. 126,000/- and 75 Scholarships each worth Rs. 10,000/-

If your child is the best student among the children of Ceylinco Life policyholders in the district at the GCE Advanced Level exam according to the Z-score system then he/she will receive Rs. 3,500/- every month for a period of 3 years.

Policyholders' children who are placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the district will receive Rs. 10,000/- each, provided they achieve the minimum qualifying requirements according to the Z -score system for university admission.

National Merit Awards 10 Scholarships each worth Rs. 35,000/-

Children who qualify to represent the country or establish national records in sports events which are categorized under Olympic Sports.

Recognition at international or national level for new inventions or creativity.

Achievements at international or national level for art, drama and cultural activities.

What is Ceylinco Life Cash Bonus?

It's a special bonus rewarded to Ceylinco Life policyholders who have reached the tenth,fifteenth or twentieth year of their policy.

Ceylinco Life Cash Bonus is given in addition to your annual bonus. What's more, your Cash Bonus cheque will be hand-delivered to you one of our Ceylinco Life sales representatives during the month of April.
